Brown Mucus But No Period?

mail

Ten days ago I was at a funeral in a church in Via Bobbio and I noticed that the priest had set up a Christmas tree at the side of the altar. I was surprised, but not too much: just the day before, in fact, an acquaintance of mine, fiercely secular, I had confided to prepare the crib at home. Evidently there was an exchange of symbols. The funeral of a friend the other day was sixty years ago, Franco, who had to act of presence: I had helped at a time when the text messages were to come and lovers risked losing contact. So, I had a girl who was standing in the summer campaign and was monitored by un'arcigna aunt gave her my news summary and trivial letters with a false signature and adding female white margins in my written promise of eternal love with the lemon juice. The girl then made visible those sentences with the warmth of an unexpected iron. For the answer we wanted another catch, because the mailbox was in control of my mother, contrarissima to flirt. And here came Franco in action, being already an adult, he could use the brass plate: with patience was the inevitable queue, and I longed to deliver the package. For this I went to thank him, even after sixty years.

Wedding Welcome Boards

Bagpipes

Something Christmas and we want something in dialect, seeing the commercials for the 150 anniversary of the unification of Italy had a certain air of superiority to popular idioms. Was published in Genoa in 1932 a volume entitled "harps and bagpipes, which collected many unpublished poems in Italian and in dialect, written for the Christmas holidays: almost all compositions that, reread today, can not stand the test of time. It will only save in my view, two poems by Edoardo Firpo, certainly the best among the Genoese dialect writers. Here's a song: "Or a little boy or figgieu piccin / comme Vedda if you always geuxiu / dosc with euggi and Ciaè / pan that two gosse cheite a rammetto. / Just a pie or that Pittin / just because Madonna in the ammie, / if he or does or Sappino / ao ballezza to ghe sings a pittinin / or ghe and Rie. / The is or cianze of figgieu comme a pink / that just a bit 'and I know of is the sciugà. "translate pedestrian:" The little boy is very small, as is always seen in the Santini, his eyes look like two sweet and clear that drips from a branch. Just take a little towards the Virgin Mary now looked at him, if he does pout the blast and sings, and he laughs. The crying of babies is like the dew, just a bit 'sunny and dry. "Firpo Great, as always.

Ho Do You Get Rid Of Hernia

Embryonic

About a year ago, the Flaming Lips divulged the double CD Embryonic (usually Echoes of Pink Floyd), with a cover coated with fur. A simulated birth, therefore certainly not human, maybe a few mythological animal experimental, maybe just a mind overstated.

Rough aesthetic but apparently less affected previous works, but tedious at times, the disc is a hiccup on the edge of reality made by a monkey launched into space.

include pictures of Jap girls in synthesis and Steve Hackett that emerges in the vocals (as usual clumsy) there is also an echo Tomita making the Planets by Holst, to give a hallucinatory journey into the cosmos (inner?), including signs of the zodiac (the stars that horror in the shape of a scorpion, or Sagittarius! someone finally puts its finger on those threats that dominate us! How to weigh the virgin and the enormous scale, total heavy and terrible symbol above!).

The result, as all the peels, it's hard. The sound of a metal wall, a watermark diaphanous melody, rhythm beats desperately electrified.

I would argue that evil is the devil in the details in the apparent striking monotone, that is, they usually hide the bad trip ideas dry (And being too smart with this thought of the FL is also allowed). But the good they know the sincerity of most of the times is misunderstood.

As evidence of good faith of the ensemble are unattractive, the martial gait and obnoxious, the cyclical nature of obsessive themes and musical figures, the compact tissue (almost spongy), and a host of references pathetic ear test. This small

Space Odyssey takes place in the final of the works pretty decent, but flawed, slightly self-iconoclastic and then cold, but pleasant, like a frost in early morning, with beautiful leaves ice on the windows, those Sorry we wash away with warm water and wipe with the forced departure - when we would be glad to turn around in space instead of the car and go to work.

That name

Monicelli and returning to his film set in the Maremma Lazio on the Middle Ages, it should be added that the director guesses in full even the "baptism" the protagonist: "The name East Brancaleone da Norcia meo!" Gassman maccheronico recited in Latin, and never was able to name more fill the mouth of a shabby knight. It was like the "wherefore" dear to the Bolognese. Where that name came to be is not known, but I have an 'idea about it. In the sixties, when it was designed and filmed, acted and Tarquinia mediate such a surveyor Brancaleoni Franco, Milan, intent to test, on behalf of the foundation Lerici, new methods of archaeological research. The well-equipped technical measure "soil resistivity, launching electric waves along a row of stakes driven into the soil anomalies in the graphs obtained showed buried walls. Other tool Brancaleoni was an inverted periscope, which slipped through the holes from a drill and allowed to explore the Etruscan tombs without digging. At Tarquinia they were controlled by the thousands and discovered several of those paintings. On site were always curious and I think that the "crew" of the film was the game. Well, maybe Brancaleone, originally, was a surveyor, archaeologist Milanese.

Red Cross

Sunday "Report" Milena Gabanelli has "fired" on Red Cross activities by presenting it as a bandwagon just clear. I do not know if her right or wrong, my information on the subject date back to early last century, when my paternal grandfather, Philip, captain of the auditor CRI, passed trouble for his assistance to meet their commitments due to the war '15-'18. At that time Captain Phillip should administer the military hospital in Tortona, however, without neglecting his duties as professor of mathematics and science in a technical institute. Everything can be resolved in frantic races between school and hospital. For him there was no understanding: the journal of the Curia was any excuse to criticize his handling of the CRI, the principal of the institute was waiting at the door with the clock at hand and would report on any delays. Fared barely lasted until the war, then the return of peace erased any hesitation, even if the hospital continued to accommodate injured. So the belated Professor Philip was transferred punishment in Bobbio. Again, I do not know if Gabanelli right or wrong, I can only say, for family experience, that the custom of "shooting" on the Red Cross has ancient roots, at least the straps of my grandfather, gold and enamel cross that religious conservatives.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Graduate Letter Of Invitation

Brancaleone

"The last take of Monicelli" is one of the titles I've seen the evening of the tragedy, the press of TG3. I instinctively thought to Perozzi, the cynical journalist in "Friends" starring Philippe Noiret. He would have done that title, just to evoke the crash of a body on the pavement. Indeed, they would have added a (sciak ") and would be delighted if Monicelli from that expert that was wicked humor. Great director, Monicelli, director of films that were born with a meticulously prepared. "L'armata Brancaleone" is 1966, but I can testify that back in '61 was the tattered adventure in the yard. One morning that year, leaving the door of the castle Vulci, where I had my lair of archaeologist, I had almost collided with a man, covered in armor, waving a spear in front of a guy equipped with a camera . Clarification requested. The two told me they were doing tests in view of a film scene on the Middle Ages. They explained that the castle, blackish and chipped, it was an ideal background, near the Roman bridge, then, is a marvel. Five years later he returned to Genoa, I went to see "L'armata Brancaleone" and found myself on the screen bridge and castle. I recognized also the helper of the time, his jaw had a unique length.

Catering Cartoonists

The girl cross the street is, of course, the telephone. Just at the time of my transit the communication concludes by saying: "We are then cooked and eaten." Probably meant "after dinner" or perhaps "I salute you." Thus, even the final clause of the section on Italy's gastronomic Benedetta Parodi one has done damage to the Italian language. The only consolation is that the new slogan as the program will last, no more, and the illustrative plates are not infinite. The other day the cook was already attractive came the grilled steak, a sign of a decrease in fantasy. I can not run to his aid because many of the old recipes that I remember are even more trivial: a child snack offered a choice of bread, butter and sugar or bread, oil and salt for dinner would often egg à la coque, just boiled and then head off to accommodate the many slices of bread and salt to fish out with a teaspoon. When the egg was definitely fresh, the recipe is even easier: you take a knitting needle (for those with large eye) were made two holes in the shells, one above and one below and then off to suck: first came in her mouth white, then, delicious, the yolk. Nothing, therefore, suitable for lady Blessed. And then, one egg a day, where we find him?

50th Aniversary Art Clip

ammazzacaffè The sticker is the daily newspaper. Politically, the author must be in tune with the director of the moment, but can also deviate a bit 'off course if the joke is very happy. Physically, the cartoonists will look a bit 'all: they are expressions of the funeral, as if the product of their genius was a leech in a good mood. The only author who has seen laughing while he was called Rino D'Anna was for many years and illustrator of the nineteenth. After him came the Origone brothers, known as "the arm and the mind." One was the joke, the other wrote. Sometimes they put the work in writing as "thinker" was around his face fierce and his hands behind his back, the other, Seraphic, prepared with a pencil the comic still blank. They were my comfort, never a delay in delivery. A completely different music Vauro that in the short period of his cooperation, was a nightmare for us. Every evening it was necessary to him two or three phone calls to urge him and the answer was always the same: "What do I care, I have to think ...!". When I see him get by with a dozen cartoons Santoro, fresh day and lightning, I wonder if then we make fun or if, now, Berlusconi has been to unleash the humorous vein.

The dilemma

the end, even scholars English have raised the white flag, recognizing that Christopher Columbus was Genoese. Now there would be another battle to control, remove from the shoulders of Admiral of the charge of having imported syphilis in Europe. This rumor was echoed in 1919, the poet Olindo Guerrini, author, with Corrado Ricci, a curious book, the "Job." Now write the Guerrero: "Oh, Genovese improvident, / which ships of Hispanic / o'er the prows unknowns / Ocean Drive / Americas and of the strange / you opened the criminal path / to Florio, Rubattino / and other companies / do not know how many spasms / pain increased human / then recast that the toxic / spoiled we love? / Do not you know that nights horrible / passiam that day grams / drinks and that infamous / doctor gives? .... "These days there are likely to carry the heavy accusation Colombo: Kingston-upon-Hull, England, skeletons were found with obvious signs of the disease and there was radiocarbon dated to 1340. It 's a success, but also a means trouble, because the source of the disease across the Atlantic seems beyond doubt, those same skeletons show that someone had made the first voyage of Columbus. Genoa will therefore be in the dilemma: take on the discovery of syphilis or lose America?

Favorite Mario Salieri Movie

Broccolino

At the time of the direction of Michael Titus, the nineteenth item received by the United States written by a young Italian journalist, which I do not remember the name right now (but I will). The content was interesting, form left to be desired: it was clear that the author was engaged, for the time to learn English well, sometimes at the expense of the mother tongue. I straighten my problems in those articles, and one day, when the girl rang me to see if everything was all right, I told him out of his teeth: "Your piece would be great if they were not written in Broccolino ...". I was expecting a laugh, but the interlocutor took it badly mumbled "How dare you!" and threw the phone down. There ended up contacts, but the Italian of the best articles. Back in Italy, our young correspondent was visiting the drafting: it was a slim, playful little girl who loved to sit on the desks. He turned away only from my own, obviously if the show was made for the avoidance of unpleasant discussions on his style as a writer. I made a right and then followed, other newspapers and on TV, the progressive career of my colleague. It seemed that no goal was prevented and the way it was. The only change, now no longer has a slim little figure. Ah, that's the name: Lucia Annunziata.

Punishment Of A Slave

Benito

No, not what you think. For us the "nineteenth" Benito was the most genial colleague, a big, nice Gascon. Bragoni surname was, but He names not used them, never were part of his tactics. An expert in the maritime sector, went to the ceremonies (especially the launching of ships) and attacked the button with the mighty host of the moment: "Of course we give you the" the said. And then: "Look, John (or Francis), if I were a news story about you, how do I control it, where are you?". Returned with the direct telephone number of the character, who would have felt almost every day to call: "Hello, John, are Benito ...". In this way Bragoni always had first-hand and gave terrible "holes" in competing newspapers. In his spare time, Benito had a hobby, pour salt into the wounds of the envious accrediting capital and profits at all exaggerated. Even in the breach of journalism, he went the other day to 83 years. When I heard, I thought almost immediately to his treasured notebook, full of important names and phone numbers confidential. Data that does not get old, because in the world of the sea, at the helm, there are always the same. "You see - I said - which notes that will go the way of Borsellino mysterious agenda?".

Wedding

Finally something is being done to prevent marriages that allow you to pay to enter Italy with a lot of citizenship. Implemented a fraud, especially by the women of Latin America. Years ago I happened to be an accomplice to involuntary one of these weddings with makeup. I knew a collector of antiquities of which I was grateful that, rummaging in a rubbish bin, had recovered the rare photographs of the sculptor and Baroni had sold me. When I published the biography of the artist, not in the notes I forgot to thank the lucky finder and I gave some copies of the book. One day the man told me: "You know, I got married in Central America." Insinuai and smelled the hoax: "I imagine that the wedding night has passed without the wife, but with a nice bundle of dollars ...". "Exactly," he said. "But - I objected, the Italian authorities of the place did not have problems?". "Sure, but I, to prove be an important person and well, I opened the console in front of his book on Baroni and I said "Read here, a distinguished scholar thanks me ...". The consul was convinced and gave me the go-ahead "." It 's enough for that? "." Well, I had a new suit, bought me my dear wife. "" Never seen her, eh? " . "Yeah."

Mannoni

A week ago, died Tiziano Mannoni, Genoa, one of the greatest Italian archaeologists. I knew him for over half a century, since his lanky figure appeared high and the Institute of Ligurian Studies to ask refer to magazines. He was just the beginning of a journey that led him to create a new kind of researcher, the archaeologist of scientific training. Until then, archeology was an area reserved for humanists, people who knew Latin and greek, studied art history and ancient, in a suit and tie, ran the pick of the workers on the ancient ruins. Mannoni with everything changed, the archaeologist began the suit and took up the trowel, he forgot "pink rosae" if he had never studied it is entrusted to the microscope, count the circles in tree trunks, chemical examination of calcination , the classification of the shapes of the bricks. Friends have always contended smile: I Squaderno him under the nose of the results, I would say that the antiquity is a beautiful woman to love, not to be to autopsy. He won because he was in line with the times, they see Giulio Cesare in decline compared to snippets of stories of common people of the Middle Ages. Now I fear that his friend Titian find uncomfortable in Paradise. Everything there is a cloud, there is no land to dig.

Mid Back Pain Left Side

Vatican, publication of the Chinon parchment sull'assoluzione

The 'Processus contra Templarios' is the faithful reproduction of four parchments which are recorded 38 minutes of questioning to the monk-warriors. Bishop Pagano:''He has no desire nor celebratory and rehabilitation''of the Order of the Temple.

Rome, October 25 (Adnkronos / Adnkronos Culture) - This is not a discovery. Thus, the prefect of the Vatican Secret Archives, Monsignor Sergio Pagano, began presenting the volume "Processus contra Templarios" clear the field by some inaccuracies press reports in recent days. ''It is the third issue of a series called 'Exemplaria Praetiosa' - he explained -''opened in 2000 and continues today with a publication that has''no intention''of celebration, let alone rehabilitation of the Order of the Temple .

is also "completely accidental," the fact that this year, marks the seventh centenary of the beginning of the trial of the Templars. The publication contains within it the most faithful reproduction of four scrolls, whose sum total length of 5 feet and they were recorded 38 minutes of questioning.

The first three documents relate investigation pope on the Order of the Templars held in Poitiers, and constitute the surviving examples of a corpus of five original parchment rolls. The fourth parchment document is the most important and around which focuses the interest of scholars and fans of each other. It was only in 2001 and reinvent the original act of absolution granted by the plenipotentiaries of the cardinals, Pope Clement V at the Temple of the Grand Master Jacques de Molay and other dignitaries Templars imprisoned in the castle of Chinon, which takes its name from the parchment.

The document in question, in fact, had already been surveyed in the catalogs for the first time in 1628 and again in 1912. However, only six years physically ago has reappeared, thanks to research by Barbara Frale, the Vatican Secret Archives official. "The great thing - he said the archaeologist and author Valerio Massimo Manfredi - is the definitive publication of these documents, it would be a wonderful film, I have also spoken with De Laurentis, who has expressed interest in principle. It 'a drama of momentous proportions, almost apocalyptic, with a dramatic conclusion to a huge and a duel to the last shot and deception between a French king and a pope. "

The trial of the Templars in fact took place almost entirely during the period of the "Avignon captivity" he saw, after clashes between the papacy and the French monarchy, the Archbishop of Bordeaux, Bertrand de Got, ascend the papal throne as Clement V moved the papal seat from Rome to Avignon was 1309. Five years later, March 18, 1314, "died at the stake Jaques de Molay, the last Grand Master of the Order of the Temple - said Barbara Frale - with a conviction for heresy, although he had been previously acquitted by the pontificates. A chronicler of the version reported that, before he died he called the King of France and Pope Clement V to the court of God. "

It is from this episode would have created "the endless legends" the story of the Templars, also favored by the "great loss of documents in a trial lasting seven years - said the Frale - who was also a huge international intrigue in which they met the Church's authority and that of the king of France and other secular rulers eager to dismantle the Order of the Temple, now a kind of fossil of the time of the Crusades. " Unlike the writers of fantasy, "historians have played in the fall, denying the guilt of the Templars."

The truth, as always, lies somewhere in between, and their acceptance of their accountability to the pope and the context of repentance dignitaries of the order determined their acquittal, documented in the Parchment of Chinon. "It 's that the contents of the parchment and it is really surprising that it was
always kept from the time of Clement V and the papal archive already surveyed in 1628 and later in a detailed catalog of 1912, while passing unnoticed to scholars. Perhaps they were "detecting" a series of events, including the Frale cites authoritative studies Scottmuller, "who did not recognize the real importance of that investigation, mistaking it for the diocesan investigation of the many celebrated in France" . Frale the other hand, was suspicious of the presence among the judges of Berenger Fredol, nephew of the pope and his right arm and "the most important man of the College of Cardinals."

The intervention of such an authority could only be justified by the importance of the condition, involving the heads of the Order and would termionata with their acquittal. From this event comes a new figure of Clement V, usually seen as the "chaplain of Philip the Fair." "The Order of the Temple is a piece of the Church of Rome. The pope could not agree who was to steal goods from utilizzatre destroyed in a war against another sovereign Catholic king of England was impossible. Clement V underwent the trial of the Templar Order, which in reality was sacrificed to prevent the opening of a schism that would lead to the formation of the Church of France. "

The tortures of the Inquisition of the Templars

The Holy Mother Church is so concerned about the rights of a single sperm, woe to "disperse the seed! Showed a considerably lower sensitivity towards the poor human beings whose only fault was perhaps that he cursed because they had nothing to put under your teeth.
The Inquisition was born in the twelfth century as an ecclesiastical court combined the cases against the Cathars and Waldensians. Over time, his task is more specific more in research and judge all heretics. The criterion by which a person is attributed to the crime of heresy was highly questionable and very often the charges were completely unfounded, however, the accused came to attribute the most imaginative crime just to end the atrocious tortures they were subject. The execution was not possible without a confession, which could not be extracted with good manners. 3 Inquisitions remember: the medieval, the English and Roman. Although it is confined in different places and times, their methods of procedure were essentially the same. Ancient methods of torture were used and were invented new ones, thanks to the contribution of presumed experts of witchcraft and demonology. They were convinced that the devil would leave a mark on the skin of his servant: invisible sign, but that made numb the skin at that point. That is the meat of the accused were penetrated by long pins to identify the point at which the "Servant of Satan" did not feel pain or not screaming (perhaps because exhausted by torture). This was considered sufficient evidence. The punishments more "normal" were the following:
KNOTTED It was a special torture for women. It is tightly twist the hair of witches on a stick. Strong men rotated the tool quickly, causing a huge pain and in some cases coming to remove the scalp and leaving the skull exposed. This torture was also used in Germany against the Roma (1740-1750) and in Russia during the Bolshevik Revolution in 1917-1918;
RACK He was a popular and easy way to extract confessions. The victim was tied on a table, ankles and wrists. Roller had passed over the table (and accurately on the body) to dislocate any joints;
CRADLE OF THE WITCH: This was a torture to which they were subjected only witches. The witch was closed in a bag and then tied to a branch was made continuously oscillate. Does not seem like torture, but the swing caused profound disorientation and helped lead to confess. Various subjects they also suffered during this torture of profound hallucinations;
O JUDAS CRADLE OF TRIANGLE : the accused was stripped and hoisted on a pole at the end of which was fixed a large object pyramid of iron. Eventually the victim were fixed weights on the hands and feet;
BLEEDING : it was a common belief that the power of a witch could be canceled by bleeding or by purification through fire, of his blood. The witches were condemned "sign on the breath" (defaced over the nose and mouth) and left to bleed to death;
O IRON MAIDEN Maiden It was a sort of metal container with a human form (Just a little girl) with folding doors. The inner part of the doors were inserted metal blades. The prisoners were locked up so that their body were exposed at this point in its entire length, but without damaging any vital organs so deadly. Death typically occurs slowly in awful pain;
OVEN: This barbarous sentence was carried out in northern Europe and similar to the Nazi crematoria. The difference was that in the concentration camps the victims were killed before being cremated. In the seventeenth century more than two thousand girls and women suffered this penalty within nine years. This count also includes two children;
Garrote: is nothing but a pole with a iron ring attached to the victim, sitting or standing, she was fixed and then went close with screws or a cable. Often break the bones of the spine;
IMMERSION OF STOOL : this punishment was used more often on women. The victim was tied to a seat that prevented any movement of the arms. This seat was then immersed in a pond or a swampy place. Several older women who suffered this torture died from the shock of cold water. The immersion of the stool was used for the witches in America and Britain as well as punishment for minor crimes, prostitution and the harm of repeat offenders;
IMPALA : it is one of the oldest forms of torture. Was implemented by means of a sharp pole inserted into the rectum of the person, forced to pass along the body to escape from the head or throat. The pole was then inverted and planted in the ground, so these miserable victims, when they had the good fortune to die at once, suffered for a few days before expiring. All this was made and exhibited in public;
Mastectomy: Some tortures were prepared not only to inflict physical pain, but also to disrupt the minds of the victims. The mastectomy was one of them. The flesh of women were torn by pincers, sometimes red-hot. One of the most horrific cases known where it was used this torture was that of Anna Pappenheimer. After have already been tortured with the "strappado, was stripped, her breasts were removed and, before him, were driven by force into the mouths of his adult children. This shame was more than physical torture, the execution was a travesty on the role of woman as mother and nurse, imposing an extreme humiliation
Ordal WATER: In this type of ordeal, water symbolizes the Flood of the Old Testament. As the flood swept away the sins so the water "clean up" the soul of the person. After three days of penance, the accused had to plunge their hands in boiling water, sometimes up to the wrists, in other cases up to the elbows. He then waited three days to assess its faults.
was put into practice an ordeal of cold water. Attributed to the person's hands and feet were tied with a rope, so that the position was not certain propitious to stay afloat after being immersed in water: if it floats, it was definitely guilty, because the water is "rejected" a creature demonic, if he went to the bottom, was innocent, but it hardly would have been saved in time;
WATER swallow: the accused, chained hand and foot ring windows in the wall and placed on a tripod, is forced to swallow more than nine liters of water, and many more if the first attempt is not convincing, for a total of eighteen liters.
Ordal FIRE: Before you begin the ordeal of fire, everyone involved should take part in a religious ritual. This ritual could take up to 3 days during which the accused had to participate in prayers, fasting, undergo exorcisms, receive different types of blessings and take the sacraments, after which he begins the ordeal that could take place in different ways. One of these was to carry for some distance a piece of hot iron, the weight varies between half a kilo and a kilo and a half.
Another type of ordeal of the fire was to walk barefoot over hot coals, sometimes blindfolded. After the test, the wounds were covered and the expiration of three days a jury of the state controlled burns. If the wounds were not healed, the accused was guilty, otherwise he was considered innocent;
PERA It was a terrible instrument that was used most often orally. The pear was also used in the rectum and vagina. This instrument was opened with a crack from a minimum to a maximum of its segments. The inside of the cavity it was horribly mutilated, often fatally. The prongs built at the end of the segments were used to increase the physical damage. This was a punishment reserved for women accused of having had sexual intercourse with the Devil;
PRESS : also known as strong and hard punishment, it was a death sentence. Adopted as judicial measure during the fourteenth century, reached its zenith during the reign of Henry IV. In Britain was abolished in 1772.
CLEANING THE SOUL: it was widely believed in many parts of the soul of a witch or a heretic was corrupt, dirty den contrary to what we had in the world. To clean it before the court, sometimes the victims were forced to ingest hot water, coal, and even soap. The famous phrase "wash your mouth out with soap" which is used today dates back to the torture;
STAKE: one of the oldest forms of punishment for witches was death by burning, a fate also reserved for heretics. The fire was often a big public event. The execution took place usually after a short time from the issuance of the award. In Scotland, the burning of a witch was preceded by days of fasting and solemn sermons. The witch was strangled, taking care of it remain in a state of stunning, and his body, at times, was immersed in a barrel of tar before being tied to a stake and in focus. If, for some fortuitous coincidence the witch was able to break free from the pole and go out in flames, people inside the Push back;
WHEEL : France and Germany, the wheel was popular as a penalty. It was similar to the crucifixion. The victims were broken limbs and the body was placed between the spokes of the wheel which was then mounted on a pole. The agony was too long and could last for days;
SEDIAINQUISITORIA : it was a chair fitted with spikes and prickles to which the condemned was bound by tight bandages. The fund could be red-hot for serious burns;
SEGA : terrible method of execution used in most of the time, to homosexuals. The condemned was hung upside down with her legs apart with a saw and was cut in two vertically. Was held upside down so that the bleeding was slow and because the increased flow of blood to the brain acuisse sensitivity to pain. It also appears that the victim remained conscious until the saw reached the skull;
buffeted : it was a form of torture used in conjunction with "stolen". The accused here was always hoisted on the pulley, but with weights tied to his body ranging from 25 to 250 pounds. The consequences were very serious;
SPANISH BOOT: his legs were tied together in a sort of iron boot, the Executioner holding up the pulping of the bones;
TORN: The accused was tied to a rope and hoisted up a kind of pulley. The performer did the rest and leaving abruptly pulling the rope and dislocating, so the joints;
water torture: it was imposed frequently compromising character, since its results were not outwardly visible. Swallow was done to the accused an inordinately water until his stomach did not reach abnormal size, and then was put upside down because the water mass weighed on the diaphragm and lungs. In addition to strong pain, tears and this caused serious injury to internal organs;
THE ANIMAL TORTURE: an insect, usually a gadfly, sometimes one or more bees were placed in the navel of the accused, closed from a glass. Alternatively, you could enter the victim's head in a sack full of angry beasts, often cats
THE MOUSE: Torture applied to witches and heretics. A live mouse was inserted into the vagina or anus with the head turned toward the victim's internal organs and often, the opening was sewn. The creature, frantically looking for a way out, scratched and gnawed the meat and organs of torture. I wonder how they managed to endure the wretched terror at the mere sight of the rat caused by that a little later would come into his body
Turcas : This medium was used to rip and tear the nail. In 1590-1591 John Fian was subjected to this and other torture in Scotland. After that his fingernails were torn out, the needles were inserted in its end;
SLEEP: sleep was to deprive the accused. Matthew Hopkins used it in Essex. The victim, tied up, was also forced to dive into the ditches all night to prevent them from falling asleep.

The Secret of the Templars

symbols Chinon
October 13 from seven centuries ago, the king of France ordered the arrest of all the warrior-monks of the Temple in Jerusalem. Trial and sentencing were an atrocious frame. In the castle of Chinon traces are left.
PAUL RUMIZ

CHINON
is invisible on the hill, the prison of the knights of God has engulfed the rain, and a layer of clouds Atlantic dall'imbrunire that stagnates above the river compact. No trace, in Chinon, and the left wall behind which seven centuries ago, the Grand Master of the Templars, Jacques de Molay was closed and tortured, along with other dignitaries before being burned at the stake. It is the epicenter of a terrible story, and a black legend that still arouses furious passions.
At nine in the evening, under the manor, the silence is so complete that it seems to hear the clocks in their homes. At that triggered a curfew on the old France, Chinon and time stops. Palaces in yellow tuff, old hotel delightfully Fane, the smell of river silt, old cobblestones and a fog where you can get lost as in a glass of Pernod. On the streets, only a drunk, that speaks for itself in a terrifying monument to Joan of Arc riding a horse demon in hell that seems to drag more than the sight of God
"But she goes there to do in Chinon? Templar is not nothing left, "he warned in Paris. To listen to the scholars of France seems to be the least suitable place in Europe to find the warrior monks. Everything seems to be blown away by persecution, which here had its epicenter deadly. But we also put half a revolution that shattered what was left. From "temple" of Paris, turned into a prison dall'ancien regime and later demolished as the Bastille.
Everything in the trip, it seemed to throw off this cursed place. The rain, the Paris ring road of hell, the endless ups and downs of France deep in the woods after labyrinthine Orleans, as well as the Loire, where I finished at the gates of a nuclear power plant, and then on the way - wrong - to Laudun, the city of "devils" and the stake for witchcraft. After all, this village in the rain that seems to head in the world.
In places like sleeping seven centuries are nothing, and maybe it all started on a night like this, October 13, 1307, when the henchmen of the king - unleashed at the same time in all of France - came out on the streets to stop thousands of monks warriors charged with heresy, usury, sodomy, and more. "A crime horrible complain, detestable, execrable, abominable and inhuman, "so Philip the Fair in the apocalyptic secret in order that he take the first large-scale raid in history. Took them all to get their hands on their treasure. They separated in different prisons, tortured them with fire and forced them to confess the same things.
The next morning the sound of me ripping the bolts fantasies while I wait in the rain, under the fortress. It is Madame Esnard, the guide, who apologizes for the enormous amount of locks to open. He announced that the tower of Coudray, where he was imprisoned the grand master, has been closed for months - I felt it - and you need a permit to visit from Tours. Explain Chinon triumphs that the legend of Joan of Arc, that his mission here was invested by the King of France. For the Knights Templar is almost none.
is strange, he says, because there are graffiti of prisoners. Mani, radiant with light hearts, shields and crosses, which have made a fool seekers symbols like the great Louis Charbonneau and Rene Guenon. A Chinon, it is true, there's nothing left. It is the place that there is less Templar. But the walls, ones yes, they speak and how, overlooking the Vienne, on a hill riddled with caves, jaw decayed over the vineyards of Touraine.
We enter a maze of tunnels, bridges and scaffolding workers swarming: Chinon is an ongoing restoration of a the largest in Europe, an operation of fourteen million euro, and the prison is there in the middle of the Templars, sealed by a fence, forgotten in the rain. A cylindrical Dentone tuff that sinks into the gum of the hill to a depth that seems to connect it to another world. Meanwhile
Tours comes from the go-ahead: open the tower just for us. We enter with flashlights, many of the graffiti can be read only in this way. Under a ceiling hexagonal form a puzzle on the walls, follow the sequence of Pietroni tuff like the pages of a book. The best known are the entrance on the left, protected by a glass case. "In there," smiled Madame Esnard, "a female bat came to the shelter last season. " The torch lights lilies, shields, axes, constellations, figures of saints, crosses the basis of steps. But once the eyes adjust to the dark cobwebs of entries here appear less deep, dense in the three slots open on the south side of the tower.
In the outline of a ship is written: "Command eis Philipe King, Pope Clemens et quintus diabolis dragonibus. That would mean: Pope Clement and King Philip of France, you were sent by the devil and the dragon. Philip is known as "the forger." Nothing esoteric: it is the curse of ordinary men, with their anger and their fears. Finely engraved the names of possible progionieri: Jehan Galubia, Geoffroy Verceil, Philippe Besançon, Pierre Safet cook the master of the Temple.
"Somewhere in the western end of the slot," says the guide, "there was the signing of Jacques de Molay, but now no longer able to read it." He says that the graffiti were inventoried only thirty years ago by a certain Yvon Roy, who saw them when they fell the first renders. But historians do not trust, because the discoverer "was left alone for months to work in the tower" and is feared to have handled something to add evidence in favor of the Templars. The problem is that no one yet has found no evidence "against" the authenticity of the extraordinary graffiti Chinon.
In the bottom of the central window, over a carpet of bat droppings, "Nous sommes devant amenes the Inquisiteur Humbert de france paris les freres torture here," we are brought before the inquisitor Umberto, who has tortured the brothers. And again, a bit 'higher up, as well as a horseshoe, "We have received whiplash from Robert Fribault that the Executioner is the king ...." And finally, on a stone at the top left of the slot East, "Robert Talmont, the preceptor of France, died at Chinon infertegli for torture." To read, you have to put the flashlight sideways, to enhance the shadow in the cracks. But everything is fantastically clear, and it is perhaps for this reason that historians still do not trust and Superintendence preferred to leave the graffiti in the shadows.
still raining outside, from the top of the wall of the small islands of Vienna seems to climb the barges as a lazy ocean current. The walls talk? "The reality is that after all the fuss about the Templars, there is still much to know and a lot of documents to sift through," grumbles Alain Demurger, maxi-French expert on the subject, before you recommend a good wine cellar. It is skeptical about the graffiti of Chinon, prefers to work on the records of the trial, a record more than enough. But the conclusion does not change: the knights of God were "ordinary people", not "aliens." Military and monks, novices and recruits together, had the their inevitable "hazing", and those vices who has clung to the king for his accusations. Guilty or innocent? France - swear here - is still split in two.

What Can I Wear On My Leg After Bunion Surgery

THE FOURTH KIND: frighteningly smart

I find it impossible not to fall into the trap of The fourth type, yet another example of fake reality cinema. The attractive property, the movies "vintage", the introduction of Milla Jovovich, all conspire to create that sense of suspended credibility and constant doubt, characteristic of the good films of pure entertainment. There is no truth it The fourth type, yet the film is so well constructed to make us believe otherwise constantly. The undersigned, knowing that they attend a pure fiction, so it is left to conquer and be involved from start to doubt what we already knew. The truth is that a film like this is scary, anxious, disoriented, leave him a bad feeling ill, comes to lodge their doubts in our confidence. The credit goes to the measured and directed by Olatunde Otsunsanmi never intrusive, capable of making us the creeps through voices, whispers, video clips disturbed ancient and incomprehensible languages. Spielberg's science fiction is light years away, here we are in the range of feelings of discomfort and the appearance suggested simply mentioned. There's nothing dramatic, and the manifest the fourth type and for this reason, this creeping terror and not encrypted, the film scared and terrified beyond the normal threshold of support Corsivo skills. Leveraging on our more primitive and atavistic senses, the film, using the experience of enough cited and praised Blair Witch Project and the excellent and recent Paranormal activity, break down the barrier between real and likely, giving us an hour and a half plenty of shivers down my spine. A real way of the cross in which the viewer finds himself inevitably come to terms with her fears and hidden ancestral without stopping for a moment to reflect on a screenplay certainly smart, but certainly not devoid of good ideas. In conclusion The fourth type is considered as the perfect evolution of a genre that the 50 de War of the Worlds, through the 70's Star Wars and ET's '80 found today their right to continue in films like this, so disturbing, not reassuring and terribly plausible ... just like the reality we live every day.

THE PLOT IN A FEW WORDS
Alaskan town is afflicted by unexplained disappearances. A psychologist investigates the phenomenon. Will be faced with something that she herself will find it hard to understand.

THE SCENE THAT IS THE FILM
All fake scenes of hypnosis ... very disturbing.

ANGLE CONCEPTS intriguing
Milla Jovovich has become a familiar face and recognizable thanks to Luc Besson who wanted her as a protagonist in that colossal crap from The Fifth Element. Then we happily dressed as Alice in the film adaptation of the video game Resident Evil, a role she has played well in the subsequent two sequels.

Best Nickname In Guild On Ragnarok

FORECASTS OF CINEMA: From 22 to 28 January 2010

As a child in front of a film which has not yet seen ... With this almost new book (I started doing this long ago, but then I stopped) opens a brand new path. The attempt is to give you an indication of the upcoming movie completely arbitrary and based solely on common sense and my personal experiences. Week by week I'm going to give you my opinion on movies that in some cases have not yet seen, with the promise to deny myself in the event that any pre-judgment proves wrong.

start with the wonderful film starring George Clooney. the Air, the title is a bitter parable about the present, about loneliness and what makes it worth the our lives. A major player in the state of grace and smell of Oscar, a solid screenplay as marble, and so far, for a film that, without burrs and with a lot of poetry, takes us away. We laugh, we are moved, it reflects very short, a bit like in real life. The director, Jason Reitman, is the same Thank You for Smoking and Juno . I have had occasion to see him and also to review it ... personally, I loved. Highly recommended.

Nine is the new film of that miracle of Rob Marshall, a man capable of diffused light to shine for years, thanks to Chicago , musicals a little overrated crazy America that he did a few years ago. This Nine starts from 81 / 2 by Federico Fellini , staging loves, obsessions, and the visionary poetry of Emilian master. Sui generis character of this musical is none other than the great Daniel Day Lewis and able to give him even a potato if it were given the opportunity. We anticipate many applications, but few Oscars. We expect a lot of color, great music, beautiful choreography, but also a lot of sterile perfection. More doubts than enthusiasm.

Let a curious film and appeared out of nowhere, First Snow. Thriller on the fate and the inevitability of that has its strength in the interpretation of its protagonist, Guy Pearce that will go down in film history for the magnificent and unforgettable Memento. Piper Perabo also the game, good and beautiful actress already seen this year in Italy nell'inedita Carriers. Perabo, the actress is never boring, able to alternate food film ( Coyote Ugly, The Devil's hideout ) small jewelry author ( and Delirious, Ima origin Me & You ). Without knowing anything, frankly I would give confidence if only for its protagonists. Sure, it might be the usual thriller faded and inconclusive, but my sense of spider stings. Recommended.

remain in the camp with fear The fourth type, a film that purports to tell a true story based on real documentation filmed. The topic of alien abductions, lately some ab Bandon, new life here, thanks to the interpretation of Milla Jovovich ( The Fifth Element and Resident Evil trilogy ). In a document allegedly true and another completely fake, it seems that the film really scared face and at least from what we saw in traler, promises should be kept. For a horror fan like myself, this is unmissable classic. At your own risk.

Puppies-code
Marco Polo Italian is an animated film that certainly will not disappoint the children who will have the good fortune to be accompanied to the cinema by compliant parents. The result of simple animation and pure, without quoting its own sake and flirting adults, this film is notable for being openly dedicated to the children. A captivating story that is inspired by hatred of the Sorceress Cornacchia for the city of Venice. Puppies will be up to the title groped to foil the evil plan of the Sorceress, which provides for the sinking of the lakeside town. For all children and children grown complacent that they will want to accompany.

round off with the man who will . The film rights to George put on film the sad and controversial story of Monte Sole dell'eccidio War, misery, suffering and pain, partisans on one side and Germans on the other. For someone like me, this story has lived on his own skin, at home, unmissable event, for all other an important film to reflect and to never forget. For once, Italian cinema is not about love of the pursuit of happiness, but of our history. Highly recommended.

TERMINATOR SALVATION: The drift of film and entertainment chores

For months it was a fine show on my shelf if the bluray of Terminator Salvation. Today, given the good mood and gray day, I decided to break through the inertia and give opportunities to the film in question to amaze me. After a brief prologue, the film begins and astute viewer I already know what to expect from a title in the Terminator franchise . Destruction, the usual robot of various sizes, the usual chatter, the usual John Connor, the usual final sacrifice. The soup is always the same, each film will mix some ingredients but the taste never changes. Even Mc G (responsible for that nasty Charlie's Angels ) for his part, renounces add different flavors and serves the viewer with the same soup ever. The fact is that Terminator Salvation is so equal to the other films in the series, which you can safely put on autopilot and engage in another. So for example I did and sleepy after an hour of viewing I started to empty the dishwasher. Apart from the guarantee that I could continue to follow the film without view, including the final story is always the same, I must say that this fact has led me to reflect on the cinema and entertainment on the drift that concerns him closely. No one here wants to attend masterpieces (although it would be nice for once), but at least it would be interesting to keep up the special effects (much amazing compared to years ago) with the script (much of borrowed compared to years ago ). It seems that cinema entertainment is the accumulation of effects and explosions, trying to forget about the glaring gaps in writing that severely afflict him. Characters guiltily cut with an ax, barely sketched characters, ideas carelessly left open and undeveloped. Terminator Salvation is an example (but not the only) of this sick way of making films, the striking poster of an industry that now repeats itself, with very few exceptions, stubbornly determined to exploit to exhaustion any good idea, ready to plunder the world of comics and TV series without any restraint now, stuck in a loop made of evil unnecessary sequels and remakes deficient. An industry that is changing and that as we know it is slowly dying. TERMINATOR DOOMSDAY

PS Looking forward to see what's invent Prosimii in the film. Perhaps Skynet decides to send a Terminator back in time to kill the mother of Sarah Connor, that is, the grandmother of John Connor.

THE PLOT IN TWO WORDS
There is John Connor, the resistance and the Terminator. Bum, Bang, Crash. Fine.

THE SCENE THAT IS THE FILM
No scene is worthy of mention.

ANGLE CONCEPTS intriguing
Wothington Sam is in theaters Avatar and soon we will see in the remake of Clash doi Titans. Christian Bale is one of the most talented actors of this historical moment. Having started making films very young (he was the protagonist in the beautiful Empire of the Sun Spielberg) has recently captured the attention of the public through movies like The Man Machinist (frankly overrated), The Prestige (very nice), Public Enemy (last wonderful film by Michael Mann) and the last two Batman (the second of which is a masterpiece) directed by Christopher Nolan.

How Do You Know Your Ringworm Is Healing?

HACHICO: Emotions and tears

Anyone who has approached this film reluctantly, some by accident, perhaps encouraged by the intention of mocking secret and shameful, it will remain deeply surprised. The true story (almost, it is obvious that everything is translated into optical Western) Hachico dog, able to wait for the return of the master until the end of his days, is certainly cloying, free and built a coffee table, but undeniably moving and involves. While trying to maintain a formal critical distance, it is impossible not to be excited by the story told in this film. If the true protagonists of the story are the tears, capable of flowing and abundant natural several times while watching, you can not deny the inspiration of sincerity that involves all the characters that make up this story, be they players or just supporting actors. From Richard Gere good always good to Joan Allen and their sweet daughter, passing by the hot dog man and the clerk of the station, obviously up to the faithful Hachic or all those who participated in the film, undertake to give their contribution to excite even the most politically astute. We must therefore understand, although I believe it is true that the cinema is first of all emotion, then Hachico hits the target, giving two hours of touching sentiment and shared emotion to an audience that maybe is not prepared to accept it. Conversely I am not suggesting that this is a great movie overall, but certainly a great film for those who want to be inundated by a flood of overwhelming emotions and let go a healthy and spontaneous tears liberating. Perhaps not much, but certainly not little.

THE PLOT IN TWO WORDS
Based on a true story, the film tells the dog Hachico and its special relationship with the boss. After the death of the dog waiting for his return for years, giving evidence of a fidelity without borders, able to cross the boundaries of earthly life.

THE SCENE THAT IS THE FILM
All final part where Hachi waits in vain for the return of the master ... impossible not to cry.

ANGLE CONCEPTS intriguing
If Richard Gere does not need presentations (personally his best films are Breathless, Internal Affairs, Sommersby, Primal Fear and Chicago), Joan Allen is instead actress too often underestimated. Among his performances The Crucible (Daniel Day Lewis on), Pleasantville (a delightful little movie with Tobey Maguire, Reese Witherspoon and Jeff Daniels) and the last two films on Jason Burne . For his part the director Lasse Hallstrom is responsible for considerable My Life as a Dog of touching House Rules of the cider (with a monumental Michael Caine) and overestimated Chocolat.

CASE 39: What a shock Bridget Jones

leaves a strange feeling watching this horror from peanuts. To begin at the earliest shots, an unpleasant feeling of already seen invades the brain and eyes, recording sequences such as those already acquired, formerly belonging to film your luggage. Case 39 it moves awkwardly beaten and abused in childhood territories appannagio diabolical. Films like The Good Son and The Omen, until the recent Breath The Devil and Orphan, In fact there are already not great touchstones for this little film series z. The history of the social worker who is struggling with a child who is not what it seems, fishing from the past, but also leaves open too many doors. Real holes screenplay, unbridgeable gaps that remain unexplained and response, leaving the audience astonished and full of questions. What's more, to further spoil the party thinks the cumbersome interpretation of Renée Zellweger. For the duration of the movie in fact, the viewer can not get rid of the feeling to watch the third installment of the adventures of Bridget Jones . As happened to the good Anthony Perkins before her, our Renée was the victim of that most famous role to interpret the trap that only light comedy. The same irritating stunned looks, the same consolidated corollary of grimaces, his face perpetually frozen by Botox in a forced paresis, which allows three facial expressions: anger purple, the embarrassed smile and stunned amazement. See a horror movie in this embarrassing condition, verging on the ridiculous, then the final coup de grace is a film from which we can hardly take any time soon. To forget ... I wish I could.

THE PLOT IN TWO WORDS
Bridget Jones in this third installment will find himself cope with a child truly diabolical.

THE SCENE THAT IS THE FILM
There's a man in a bathroom and the bees ... I will not say more.

ANGLE CONCEPTS intriguing
The first very important role to Renée Zellweger was in Texas Chainsaw Massacre IV, a colossal crap (one of the best bad movies ever) that saw the debut of another future star Hollywood, Matthew McConaughey. Besides the two chapters devoted to Bridget Jones (the first nice, the second a real boiata), our Renée played Jerry Maguire opposite Tom Cruise (very nice), I Myself & Irene with Jim Carrey (funny but nothing more), Chicago along with Richard Gere and Catherine Zeta Jones and eventually won the Oscar for supporting actress for Cold Mountain melodrama (directed by the late Anthony Minghella and starring Nicole Kidman and Jude Law).

Pic For Herpes Dark Mask

BETWEEN THE CLOUDS: Among the best films of the year

It's called the Air (original Up in the air) and is the last great film starring George Clooney in a smell Oscar. Forget the comfortable and sunny comedy in which a self-centered and selfish protagonist discovers the world and the beauty of human beings through love doing fine, here we are somewhere else. the Air begins with a series of interviews with real men and women who have really lost their jobs, to continue with the history of man more just universe, who dismisses the very people for work. He laughs, but the lips are not ever extended, but perpetually contracted in a forced smile. The disappointment as a faithful companion, the bitterness of life as a necessary corollary, the solitude of the same key value. A new beginning, the first day of our new life. A life of petty philosophy, benefits illusory hopes and ready to break. There is no rest and peace for those who, like Charon, are doomed to ferry the souls of the damned and hell itself on the river Styx. Our lives, our new life starts here, the acceptance of a condition with no way out. Loneliness. Surprising, always measured, and the very human good George Clooney, hiding behind a smile, lays bare the fragility able to shake the anyone deep. We are little men on the road, attacked with small meaningless things, like never before this moment, lost in time, space and meaning. Among the best films of the year.

THE PLOT IN TWO WORDS
The simple life of a troubled man who runs America laying off workers of all ages, sexes and backgrounds, is shaken by a series of small but radical change.

THE SCENE THAT IS THE FILM
The final gloss of unostraordinario extraordinary film.

ANGLE CONCEPTS
intriguing actor George Clooney is eclectic and extraordinary. Besides having played five sets of ER (the best series in the history of tv), one of his films stand out Out of sight (beautiful film Soderbergh), Three Kings (personally I love it), Fail safe (starordinario), the number of Ocean's (with high and low) , Syriana (Academy Award for Supporting Actor), Brother Where Art Thou? (weblog Coen brother), Michael Clayton (underrated and very good) and especially Good Night and Good Luck (overtime and his second film director). What Exactly Does Brazilian Wax Cover?

THE FINAL DESTINATION: Swear!

There is no two without three and four if it comes from. This explains in a simple fact, which has led some men of dubious morality to come together to produce a new chapter in the saga starring the sad harvester. Let's step back. The first chapter was fun, too, and above all very original, the idea that death had a plan for everyone and you could not escape it in any way was fascinating. Number two was, frankly, even better than its predecessor, thanks to an incipit was a real bloodbath (the accident most spectacular we've ever seen) and a series of scattered splatter details, like small crumbs scary, throughout the film. Then came the third chapter, and despair took possession of our hearts, repetition reigns supreme and the yawn was around the corner. Time to stir up new hopes comes this bloody chapter four (in 3D), which shall presume to stand as definitive (that "The" before the title). We come to the detail, the start, as usual, is powerful and spectacular, a bloodbath during a race Naska which is really encouraging. Unfortunately, after the hottest titles of the series (and one of the best I've seen in recent years) here is the take off usual and slavish repetition of the usual and found the usual complicated ways to die in agony. A good for nothing and a final Furbino winking, the omelet is done and now the mind is already elsewhere, lost in a fair and wonderful world in which horror movies are original and intelligent, without unnecessary sequels and remakes without stupid.

THE PLOT IN TWO WORDS
Death is pissed off with a handful of black people who were saved by his sharp sickle. Birds will for diabetics.

THE SCENE THAT IS THE FILM
