The building
My son, Renato Buratti, construction engineer, he can not bullshitting, but realized very important works: the other day I was invited to make a visit to the palace that he built (as the project manager) in the square Sopranis In the district Genoese Dinegro. The majestic beauty of the building I was stunned, not knowing if I had seen nothing of its history, I would have thought of being in front of a work of Giuseppe Terragni, who was the best Italian architect in the period between the two world wars . The whole square was rebuilt for the better, is no longer the semi-abandoned space in which I pushed myself as a boy to go and look around in an old ice factory: a magic lane full of furniture and coils. Now the factory is gone, left the room for the new building. I gave her farewell with a sonnet: "The ice factory was Dinegro, / supply vessels bananas / lists follow each reading / rollers, including a drain allegro. / A block (wrapped in wool / to last) was enough to ice / made of wood and zinc. The housewife / will store the water fountain / sparkling performance with the two cartine. / steals some piece of that ice / slush the emerald dream / Cornigliano, fable lost: / glasses remained on a cold veil / h this covers our life ".
